The story Tonia quoted is the same story Jon has maintained for his career. If he ever had major drug problems, he couldn't maintain the same story. Drugs fry your memory among other things. He's never denied doing drugs.

He contradicts himself in the story several times - ruins his credability doesn't it. Oh no, sorry, cause he said so, hence it must be so.

In Star Man Bon Jovi's former bodyguard said that the guys in the band used to hide cocaine from Jon because Jon didn't like seeing it around.

I'm citing "For a rockstar he [jon] is careful, even abstemious, preferring to unwind with a good red wine." Other guys were not as careful. But from what he writes the only guy in the band who was totally f*cked up was Alec.

One more reason to sack him!

sounds like johns at least tried coke to know what it does to you and hes one of the smart people that didn't get into it.

trust me theres alot of drugs going around and im talking about from a band playing a pub gig all the way up to where bon jovi are at so its naive to think that hes never at least gave it a shot.

personally i think richie was bang on about heroin, whats the point of shooting it when its pretty much guaranteed to **** u up big style? speed and coke arent much better for what effect they actually have, the side effects kind of make the whole thing pointless.

ive got a mate who does speed and coke when she goes dancing if shes dr9iving (ironic eh? i dont want to drink and drive so ill do a gram instead) but she goes home and sits up herself all nite cos u cant get to sleep on it. ****ing pointless if u ask me.

That's a cliche? Pardon me. I thought it was a proven medical fact. It certainly applies to the people I've dealt with who've done drugs. Not to mention the way drugs have fried the minds of their unborn babies.

Actually, it's the same story he's always told. You can make little eye-rolling icons all you want, but the man has maintained the same story. To me, that is credibility.

Believe what you choose. I'll believe what I choose based on everything I've seen/heard/read and the sources I've had. It sounds to an extent that you base your belief on "they're rockstars, therefore they fall into this stereotype...."

Neither of us have or ever will have any "proof" one way or another.

Becky

I was thinking the same exact thing! I have seen the aftermath and it is not pretty.
