although i don't like alternative rock why should it be pop? if we define the word pop then definately alternative is not pop.

i was just cutting it short as i was talking to someone at the time
but in other words "anything that isn't rock" is the alternative to rock
if alternative rock is alternative - then it's not the same thing as rock
therfore shouldn't have the pleasure of having "rock" in its title description
