Eeek!! No way. I wish I could, but that 250 dollars I am paying next week is even too rich for my blood.
did u get a seat at the elements ?

Dawn
Yes, I did. My husband along with my neighbors will be in attendance that day.

Performing solo gives the idea of man & his guitar. So basically, riding the fame of recent Springsteen tour.

I don't think it's aimed at bon Jovi fans - look at the charity involved. It's for the locals.
Exactly, and that area has people who CAN afford it.
I agree with that let's hope the locals will enjoy a concert from Jon because 500$ if they are not fan .. ouch

Right. Because Jon has never appeared as a man with a guitar before. (A few years ago he did the same thing for an area high school). He'll probably bring in Bobby Bandiera, Everett Bradley, and Lorenza Ponce too. Whatcha want to bet?

No. I saw him around two years ago when he was doing a fundraiser, and it was the same thing.

Yes, and all the Kerry stuff too.

It's not 'ouch' if you are loaded. Lot's of people here go to fundraisers, even if they don't care for the artist --- the point is that the money goes to the school, so it is for people who generally support the performing arts, regardless of who is on the bill. and that is how it should be :P

And how does one know that Jon hasn't made sizable donations? But why should he make it cheap so his "fans" can afford it. Part of going to a FUNDRAISER is shucking out the cash for a special event.

Becky
why would "non-fans" go?
