What a cool teacher!! I am working on my Masters right now but subbing full time every day. I told my classes I was going to see Bon Jovi and I told them why I had no voice after my shows! I was like "Boys and girls I can't really talk very loud today so you really need to be good listeners.. I went to a Bon Jovi concert so my voice is almost gone!" And believe it or not some of these kids DO know BJ (they are elementary kids) That always impresses me! Believe me when I have my own class we will be having lots of lessons on Bon Jovi! There are lots of ways I can tie it in!
