Default Bon Jovi & Sugarland Crossroads

According to Miranda Williams who is the Country Music TV "insider" who reports on KBEQ (Kansas City), Bon Jovi is doing an episode of Crossroads with Sugarland. That is a CMT show that pairs a country act with an act from another genre and/or time period.

When? Any other info? I'll record it and share it in PIF if there is interest.
I will try to do the same with Live 8 also.

According to the person who heard the broadcast and posted the info, Miranda said she wasn't supposed to say anything about the next episode they were filming, but she sang "Never Say Goodbye" and "Baby Girl" instead of giving names. She didn't say anything about when they were filming. I saw that Sugarland is scheduled to be in LA on October 1 with a "TBA" date. Maybe that's too far off though? They may not even film all of them in LA. I kind of hope they'll film it at the Ryman... even if I couldn't get a ticket, the sound would be perfect for the broadcast.

Remember didn't Jon say at Elements he was doing something coming up with a female country artist? Sugarland is a band led by a female singer- maybe this is what he was talking about.

I think this would be cool. Sugarland was excellent on the awards show I saw, the lead singer is a bit twangy for me but I like the vibe and the lyrical content to their songs. It would be interesting to hear the TLFR version of "wanted" with a female who could really sing. I think marketing wise this is a smart move. with the KU song off the table it's a good way to expose a different audience to the bands music and give a boost to Sugarlands career at the same time, all without getting slammed for not being "rock" enough.

I don't think "force" will be involved if this is true and something they agreed to do. Though it will be different to hear Jennifer Nettles take on Prayer--but it can't be any worse than Olivia D'Abo's.

LOL He better let Jennifer keep the "Remember me in ribbions and curls" verse.
