Oh well. At least Appetite is still a very good album. But I wish it had been between Slippery and Born in the USA.

Guinness book? The book is called "Guinness Book of Records", so it deals with statistics, not votes by fans. That's just a stupid poll.

Yus, that's what I thought!

And Appetite isn't even that good anyway. The singles are good, a couple of the album tracks but the rest is poop. Oh and they just place swear words in any spare lyric space they can find.

Gotta be honest, coming from a GnR fan, I've never been all that fussed on Appetite. Like you say, singles are good plus a few album tracks. I think Sweet Child O' Mine is all that carries it for alot of people. You don't even have to be a GnR fan to like it. And I guess they're the only 80's rock band that todays general pulic still like.

Even if the winner was declared by votes, it still would have been a lost cause in favour of A4D.

Very good point. So this is actually nothing to do with Guiness Book of Records, right? I didn't think it was anyway. That's why I was saying, it's not really a big deal. And they don't need to win this to prove anything. Atlough since their my favourite band, I'd obviously like to see them win anything positive, meaningful or not.
