Bon Jovi - Tribute bands?

Seen Bon Jordi a couple of times - entertaining enough evening, just sat in the barroom getting pissed...they didn't know how to play enough of the tracks though and had to repeat Prayer and Bad Name at the end of their set.

I've seen Slippery When Wet in Southern California quite a few times...honestly......they aren't that good. They have their moments..but they screw up alot when it's inexcusable and the singer pulls the "ok time for the audience to sing" BS when it comes to the high parts. I give them credit for pulling out Edge of a Broken Heart, Love Me Back To Life, and Tokyo Road. The former was by my request on their board. They actually do a good job when they focus...but when they lose it....it's bad.

I used to speak more favorably of them and Richie Sambora did stop by one of their shows (this was while I was living in NYC though so I missed it) and said they were the best he's heard. I've just seen too many screw ups. The last time the guitarist and singer kept screwing each other up because the guitarist would approach the singer's mic and try to both sing into it...instead it threw them off and the whole cue would be missed....repeatedly.

I have seen Slippery When Wet in the New Jersey area and they are excellent. They put on a really great show.

By Jovi are excellant. saw them 2 weeks ago for the 9th time, and though this time they had a new singer, they were just as good!
