Average performance of an average song. Pity how the other guys are so far back. Looks like the JBJ show again. On the other hand it looks like Jon's going thin on top. His hairline is definately receeding.

I actually thought it was OK, but not outstanding. Average - just like the song itself. I was hoping they would actually confirm a european tour for 2011, but Jon just said the tour starts in 3 weeks and it will take them around the world in 1 1/2 years. He stayed for a couple of minutes on the couch, donated a band signed guitar for the benefit of Haiti and then left, as the band was flying back to New York right away. Heidi Klum, who was also there, said she had seen a Bon Jovi show in Miami recently and she liked it.

I´m not a professional musician so correct me if I´m wrong... But on tour, they tune their guitars down to Eb, right? So on the TV show, with the standard tuning backing track, he was singing a half step higher than he would have in a real live setting. Of course, I´m not the right person to tell the expected vocal consequences of this slight (?) shift in tone.

I think the last chorus was ok. I like the song. And yes, it really is hard to understand why Jon was standing so far away from the others. I kind of miss the TV promos in the 80´s when they had so much fun playbacking Bad Name or Bad Medicine on Japanese TV. We´ve all seen the clips on Youtube.

i still think JB's got a fine head of hair for his age. and he has said in a couple of interviews that he wouldn't bother with any kind of treatment as he wants to age gracefully.

as for the set, i think it looked pretty cool, it was just odd to see the rest of the band so far back. the presenter was also the same guy that interviewed jon at the berlin wall celebration.

Yeah, that is possibly the worst performance that I have ever seen by Jon.

To be honest, I would go as far to say that Jon is a mediocre singer. He just doesn't cut it anymore. Too bad; he used to have a great, natural singing ability.
