Bon Jovi won't do full tour

Bon Jovi doesn't plan to launch a full-fledged tour until January because of "personal commitments," singer Jon Bon Jovi says.

In his case, the main project taking up his time is moving from his longtime home in New Jersey to New York.

'MOURNING'

"The (New Jersey) governor's in mourning right now," Bon Jovi said jokingly. "For me, it was an energy thing. It's just the idea that I'm closer to work and, look, like my wife put it succinctly to the kids: 'It's two years abroad. If it doesn't work, we'll go back. It's across the river, not the ocean.' "

There will be some select Bon Jovi concert dates before January, including a 10-night run at Newark, N.J.'s brand new Prudential Center, starting Oct. 25.
