TBH, the first thing I thought when I saw the title was that it was a jab at Richie or, at the very least, an attempt to remind the fans that Jon and the boys showed up to work and Richie didn't.

I agree that it's unlikely that they would spend the money to create the product just to jab. I do think, however, that when it came to naming the book they took the opportunity to do so. The title (which costs nothing) really doesn't make sense otherwise. At least it doesn't to me. Maybe someone else has some explanation why "WORK" would be a good title for a book of pictures that, judging from the preview, shows the band on tour, yes, but also at home, out on boats, relaxing and enjoying their lives away from 'work'.

(Or maybe Jon's just rehearsing all the leaps and cheerleading moves he uses on stage in that picture.)

Reading into the title as a jab at richie, read too much into everything, just like when richie "left" the tour.... Sometime I wonder if there are fans on this site or rather just haters? Hate the album, hate the new book, hate Jon, the band can't do any wrong.. Just love the band, love all the music like Most of the people on here, that's the only sole reason why I joined this site, because I love the band, not to complain about everything. If you have nothing else to say don't say anything at all... I know I'll get bitchy comments back but I can't care.

Bon jovi rule, stop hating start loving. Hate is a strong word yes, but all you moaners out look like haters

This was not my point of a view at all. It's just that what Bon Jovi do for a living can in no way be described as work!

David Bergman came up with the title. He explained that it's a complication of his 'work' with the band spanning 2010 - 2013. All the members are featured in the book.

Also on his Facebook page in the comments, a photographer friend of David wrote that he remembers when they came up with the title.

Not everything resolves around Richie.

Thank you for clarifying!

I don't think the price is that bad. I've seen other photo books or "coffee table books" that cost that much or more. Books aren't cheap anymore, even paperbacks can be $15 or more. A "bargain book" these days is one that costs $10.

In short, "the economy is in shambles". Doesn't explain how the damn signatures are worth 300$, though (or 24.000 in case of the damn guitar).

Thanks for sharing that explanation. I had not seen that because I avoid fb like the plague! It makes me feel a lot better about the book. I realize that not everything revolves around Richie, but as I said, without knowing David's reasons I couldn't figure how the title made sense given the previewed content.

I stand corrected.

Whoever buys this should have it delivered by the band personally and have a acoustic gig played in their living room.

Even if you take away a zero it's still overpriced. $25,000? What are they smoking? I'll be shocked if there's one person on Earth who's dumb and rich enough to buy this. If you really want this you can go on ebay and get one at 1/10 of the price, maybe even less.
