Yea, "they", not just Jon, could do more and the stuff you suggested would be nice but I'm not really bothered that they don't do that kind of stuff.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Well... I don't know... I'm a big fan of them but it is enough for me that I can enjoy their music by listening their albums and seeing them live... Even though they are great artists I'm not missing their holiday wishes at all...
I just don't always understand why people are so addicted to them that they think Jon and Richie as their friends... They have fans... I know, I'm one of them... But Bon Jovi is a music group and their fans are ought to be fans of their music so they don't owe us anything... There shouldn't be anything to bitch about...
You should be just lucky that your family wishes you marry xmas...

Damn them for not bothering to write up something generic and pointless they may or may not mean that you could find on any cheap Christmas card.

Bastards.

They don't respect the fans, they just respect their own fame.

It hurts me when I see lots of bands doing everything possible and even impossible to bring their sound to all the fans around the world, while BJ with all their money and structure don't give a shit about it ! It isn't fun that their biggest worldwide tour (These Days) just happened cause they bombed in US and needed to increase the sales in the REST of the world ?

do you really believe that it's the bands who actually take the time to write or type the "merry christmas" kind of messages? and are there people who get upset because their favourite band didn't wish them merry christmas? :/

You can't please everyone. But that shouldn't determine whether you should wish your fans a happy holiday season or not.

The most people around to world do actually celebrate something this time of the year, a simple “happy holidays everyone” isn’t that much to ask for.

the band have covered enough xmas songs to show they are not concerned about offending Jewish people etc... so I suppose if they can sing xmas songs it would make sense to wish the fans a Merry xmas. I thought they did this a few yrs back via a video on their site....

Jon having a Blue Christmas !!!!!!!!!!!!
