no i feel the eact same, this was massive chance for Jovi to come to the forefront of music, maybe enter there 4th stage of popularity! the others being SWW, Always, IML and now this could ahcve really pushed them futhur than they are

it still could to be honest, we dnt know how badly richie played, could turn out he played really well while out of it!! he is a rock God!

Three different versions of their Unplugged will air on:

MTV (a half-hour, premiering June 22)

VH1 (a full hour, June 23)

CMT (90 minutes, June 24)

As I understand it, the shows will be tailored to the "musical tastes" of each channel.

Yeah, I imagine the AAR will be on the MTV and maybe VH1 versions and Strangers w/ Leann Rimes will be CMT only or something to that effect.

Yeah, that's what I was going to say, they seem to have missed the fact that the live band has been a seven piece for like a year and a half now, and it's far from uncommon practice among bands for extra musicians to be brought in for acoustic performances especially

Even if the source isn't just trying to stir up scandal, it's easy for different people to interpret things differently anyways. It's sooooo easy (and fairly lazy journalism) to attribute any number of technical or personnel problems to being the fault of one person

Guess we won't really know for sure til we see it ourselves. Here's hoping they didn't miss the opportunity though ... if it did turn out good, I reckon it has the potential to be really really good. Fingers crossed this source is bollocks eh?

Is there a setlist floating about anywhere? I've been away for a week and the Bon Jovi world seems to have gone mental, meaning there's a hell of a lot of new topics for me to search through!
