Yet one tour of the Stones makes up for 2 "world" tours of Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi's touring schedule isn't a tough one at all. There are many, many, many other bands that do bigger tours than Bon Jovi do. Bon Jovi only played 13 dates in Europe back in 2003, while the Stones did over 40 dates in Europe alone.

All of which most work was done by Obie and Jon even acknowledged that he wasn't that much involved into One Wild Night. The demo process of HAND didn't have any involvement of Tico and David either, neither did Lost Highway. They just enter the studio, do their thing and leave, appearantly. And since when does a band need to do anything for a Greatest Hits album?
2001 was half a year of work.
2002 was half a year of work.
2003 was no work at all.
2004 was no work at all.
2005 was half a year of work.
2006 was half a year of work.
2007 was half a year of work.
In the end it comes down to 2,5 years of work. Yeah, they're working really hard.

Yeah, and those extra players from those bands aren't some average studio musicians. If Bobby Bandiera would be capable of playing a proper guitar solo nobody would complain. Now he's just producing more noise and doesn't add anything to the show, unlike the brass section for the Stones who do know how to handle their instruments.

No one complains about the amount of dates they play. People complain because they always skip Australia. Always skip South America. Always skip the same countries in Europe. The Stones did 10 dates in Australia, did a proper Asian Tour (including India, Singapore and Thailand) and played in South America, and this all happened the past 7 years.
What did Bon Jovi do? They've been playing the same cities for 6 years now, and it took them 4 of those "world" tours to get back to Australia again.

No one wants a tour like they did in the eighties. However, a tour like the Stones do isn't that hard to ask.

That's the whole point. They've left out many, many fans over the years, which is exactly why people complain about their schedule. Do you think someone from Brazil or Australia gives a **** if Bon Jovi plays New York 3 times?
