IMO if you skip Open All Night, then Bounce is a great CD...some other tracks are lacking, but Undivided, The Distance, and the title track are all greats

Open all night is one of the most sincere ballads the band has done in this millenium. I'm quite fond of it actually, though I agree it doesn't fit in to much with the rest of the album.

I actually like every song on Bounce with (Undivided, Bounce and Open All Night being my favorites.)

My only problem with this album is the flow of it, otherwise it's a good solid release.
If it was a new band releasing this album ya'll would be licking their balls.

Really? I really like the album but that song is sooo boring.

I'm with Javier, I really like it too. I agree it seems out of place, but there's something about it, it's got this really vulnerable feel to it. Am I right in saying that Jon wrote it for Ally McBeal?

Yes you are. I remember an interview where he said it the lyrics where inspired by the relationship his character and calista's character had on the show. He wrote the song with Richie though on LA.

Bounce is so overwhelming, and I don't necessarily mean that in a good way. There are so many ups and downs as far as quality of song goes that it's just tought to listen to. Songs like Undivided, Everyday, The Distance, Bounce, Hook Me Up are actually decent songs while songs like Open All Night, You Had Me From Hello, Misunderstood, Joey, Love Me Back To Life, Right Side Of Wrong, and All About Lovin' You just drag it out. Then there are songs like Standing, Alive, and Another Reason To Believe that could have been worked on and put on the album. I don't know.... I just think that it COULD be a pretty good album.

Funny.
I think those are three of Bounce's best songs (along with The Distance, Bounce, and Undivided)
Funny how different people have different opinions sometimes.
