Hi to all of you that use Internet Explorer as your default web browser (I assume it must be around 80-90 percent of the members). Anyway - have you ever though about adding some Bon Jovi touch to this browser? Actually - I just did it. I added rotating Bounce logo in the place of the usual IE logo (in the upper right corner). If you want to have one, follow the instructions (but watch out - you will have to edit your registry - don't do it unless you are totally sure you know what you're doin'

)
OK. First download the logo (57 kB):
http://members.lycos.co.uk/datmar/logo.bmp
Save the file anywhere you want to (for example create a folder called c:\MyLogo\ and put the file there).
Now run Registry Editor (go to Start, choose Run (or whatever it is called in your language), then type regedit and press Enter).
In regedit go to HKEY_USERS > .DEFAULT > Software > Microsoft > Internet Explorer > Toolbar
Now you must create or edit two string values.
New > String
One should be called BrandBitmap, second SmBrandBitmap.
Edit those values - enter the path to the downloaded file (e.g. c:\MyLogo\logo.bmp) ... Close regedit. Restart the browser and that's it. If you followed the instructions carefully, you have a nice Bounce logo in your IE.
See ya!
