Anybody know how many copies of Bounce have been sold to date and how it compares to Crush in units sold?

no BJ album will make it big like in the eighties:
- they don't make tours with 250 shows now
- they don't release as many singles a in the past, so radio won't airplay as much
- internet & downloads kill sales
- BJ is an old band right now.
- they're too hard for pop fans and too pop for hard fans

so stop asking this kind of question

The points that he makes are all valid though, especially the last two. I think the band are caught between trying to pull in new (ie younger) fans and keeping the older ones happy at the same time. Some songs have achieved this, but neither of the two 'new' albums has done this to a GREAT extent.

Default Bounce sales

:P How can anyone say anything about the success of the eighties and compare it to now? Bon Jovi is the only hair band that somehow managed to survive! 7 million albums for crush sure its only a half of whatslippery sold in 3 years and 5 million for bounce so far. I can't think of many bands
that can constantly sell over 5 milion on almost if not all the albums they have put out.

I got in to Jovi with SWW and seen them live on New Jersey and Keep the faith in the 80's & early 90's, they were good. I seen the crush show this summer & let me tell you they were better than the 80's shows they did that I saw. Jon can sing again! Alot of the times in the 80's he couldn't sing from overworking.

Bon Jovi is a band that came out Bublle Gum and turned into a well respected world class band. Jon has even said in interviews they were cheddar. Out of all the 80's bands that were awesome crue poison cinderella skid row I never would have thought Bon Jovi would be the band to survive, But I sure as hell am glad they did.

You know what???

They are not selling, cause they did a album with 7 ballads, and released pop singles...

this is the truth...
