Aloha !

I could have expected a reply like this. But I was talking in general. But let me correct myself : Almost everybody thinks it's boring.

Salaam Aleikum,

I totally agree with everyone on this page pretty much.....which is good since I posted this topic. I also agree the demos for Bounce are more fun to listen to, and thought that when I first heard Bounce. No Regrets is a lot better than most of the album, We Can Dance is better than the softer songs on the album, and Another Reason to Believe is good, but like Undivided and The Distance, tends to ware on you a bit.

the first time I played crush was on release day and it was a truely amazing feeling. Bounce did the same, but it just didnt have that "Crush" feeling. I loved crush, so it was a big album to overtake. I still love Bounce though.

I still can't get into it In fact I haven't listened to the album since I bought it. I listened to it the first day I got it,maybe twice...and its been sitting there ever since. When I first got crush I didn't think I would like it very much after listening to it,but it does have some good songs on it. With bounce I just cant find something to make me WANT to listen to the album. All I do is skip most of the tracks, and those that I somewhat like(Undivided,Hook Me Up,The Distance) usually bore me after awhile. I have to agree with liking the demos alot more than I do the album.

Like some others, I haven't listened to Bounce in months. In fact, I haven't listened to any BJ studio albums in months. Lately, I've been listening to all my new concert cds of burned mp's. Actually, that isn't exactly true, I've been listening to the Target cd a lot, but then that isn't a studio album, is it.

I really should listen to Bounce again soon, as I really love the live version of The Distance. I can't remember, but does Richie do that great guitar solo on the cd version? The solo in the live version gives me chills. It also makes me wish that I wasn't going to be missing out on the Bounce tour.

no, his great solo is saved for the live evrsion of the distance...im a big fan of crush and i think that bounce underachived....it has great songs..no classics tho, nothing(for me) which grabs u by the throat...the distance, undivded, everyday, HMU and bounce are great, and RSOW is awesome too, but the rest kinda pale when compared to the demos...and why is it that on the demos of bounce, richie does great solos in them but not for the album songs???
