Considering how well documented the NJ sessions are (will we get In America this time around, by the way?), I never thought that Outlaws of Love was a NJ era track. For my money, the vocal and guitar tone are extremely Save A Prayer.

I was also gonna say that the pre-chorus doesn't sound like the other '80s stuff, but that's moreso the guitar sound than anything, the build-up is actually super close to Living In Sin's. So who knows!

In America isn't too good. It's like 80's Mona Lisa - way too hyped for what it is. I'm pretty sure the band didn't have the reel that contained it in the first place anymore, but it was given back to them as far as I know, so chances are they'll put it up now.

Was it ever really hyped? I mean, the title obviously sounds like a huge song, but the age old leak (with barely any vocals) had more of a faux rock & roll vibe and wasn't THAT promising. Is there a full vocal version that's in good quality?

It is rumoured that some fans have a perfect quality studio recording of it (the lyrics were posted on this board a few years back). But I assume it'll come up on the backstage site at some point.
