Default Box Set DVD Easter Eggs Revealed!

For those that haven't found them yet... Here's the instructions!

BOX SET DVD: EASTER EGG DIRECTIONS
(Wednesday, March 16, 2005)

100,000,000 BON JOVI FANS CAN'T BE WRONG included a bonus DVD which, in turn, included five (5) EASTER EGGS of footage. While many fans were able to find the Easter Eggs on their own and share with other fans how to find them, many other fans have still yet to learn the secrets. Therefore, with Easter coming up fast on the calendar, following is a 'map' to the 5 Easter Eggs (sorry, no chocolate involved):

1. RIDE THE SNAKE - On the MAIN MENU put the HIGHLIGHT on the GREEN BONUS PASS. Press the down-arrow on your DVD remote THREE times and the clip will play automatically. The clip is of the band leaving the dressing room and walking towards the stage.

2. LOVE FOR OBIE - During the chapter 'MISS FOURTH OF JULY' Jon talks about running a corporation and the visual clip of Jon getting off the band's plane is the key to accessing the Easter Egg. When the clip of Jon getting off the plane is on your screen, press the ENTER or OK button on your DVD remote. The original clip will play in its entirety with a special message from Richie to Obie.

3. JON MEETS GEORGE MARTIN - From the MAIN MENU, select the GREEN BONUS PASS, then select the BAND MESSAGES pass. Put the highlight on JON's picture and with the arrows on your DVD remote, press the following combinations: DOWN, RIGHT, LEFT, UP, UP, UP. On the third press of the up arro, the initials 'JB' will automatically pop up. Press the ENTER or OK button on your DVD remote at this point to access the footage of Jon Bon Jovi working in a London recording studio with Sir George Martin. Sir George Martin, the Beatles' producer, worked with Jon on The Glory of Gershwin, a George Gerswin tribute album. Jon performed 'How Long Has This Been Going On' featuring Richie Sambora on guitar.

4. SO YOU WANNA BE A ROAD MANAGER? When the previous Easter Egg's initials 'JB' pop up, don't press the Enter or OK button on your DVD remote. INSTEAD, press the ARROWS on your DVD remote in the following combinations to have another bonus clip automatically play: LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT. The footage is an outtake from the VH-1 Command The Band contest/program. The two finalists are at the Amsterdam Airport where they meet the band (well, not all of them) for the first time...

5. ASS TECH - From the MAIN MENU, select the GREEN BONUS PASS, then select the PHOTO PASS. Proceed to the last photo in the Photo Gallery by pressing NEXT. On the last photo, put the highlight on BONUS MENU and press the arrow buttons on your DVD remote in the following combination to access the bonus clip automatically: UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT. Richie needs a pillow - this is classic BJTV footage included for those who didn't see it online.

We hope this helps some of you find the small Easter Eggs included on the DVD.

So, who had the patience and time to find them on their own? Not me! LOL I'm glad they've given instructions. I wanted to see the clip with George Martin.

Only when someone walks by and plops one on his head while his hands are busy with his guitar. LOL He wears baseball caps and bandanas (or do-rags), but no cowboy hats. Jon and Richie wear them more than he does and look how country they are! LOL Now I'm wondering if there are any pix of Dave in a cowboy hat other than the WDOA photo shoot? Do you know?

LOl Becky we hi jacked this thread but no you are right beside this old video .. nope never saw dave with a cow boy hat ...

so now i have atechincal question to everyone who is willing to answer .. what is country music ? what is to look country to be country ? is to have a banjo is to sound country ?can you be pure country with electric guitar ...? what is to swang ? LOL I am done with all my questions .. and for me KU is just KU he is not country but I have been asked by usa exclusive rock lovers "why on earth do you like a country singer" so I figured out he was country ....

ps I never was worried the bon jovi cd might sound country for real (even if I wrote it here) what is annoying me is a non bon jovi person 's addition to the cd as a duet (even if it's KU ) for me it's like caviar and ice cream I love both but separated :P

Aloha !

I'm not sure if I've seen them but considering the good quality of that DVD I'm not even bothered to look for them, it would mean that I'd have to watch that DVD twice, and it's not worth it.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Country music covers a wide range of styles. You can't really pigeonhole it. Does a banjo make a song country? No more than an accordian makes a song a polka (think Something for the Pain). I think the "twang" comes in because so many of the country artists are from the South and have Southern accents. Some really sing with a twang (Dwight Yokam, who I believe is from California). When it comes to an electric guitar there are guys like Keith and Brad Paisley who would give any rock guitarist a run for their money.

Caviar and ice cream--sounds like something you'd eat while pregnant! LOL
