Yes, because you alone are good enough to listen to it. Maybe she is laughing her fat ass off at you for being such an idiot.

hey i didn't mean to offend you with the fat ass thing (it was just an example)
its not that me alone am good enough to listen to that music, you're free to listen to it whenever you want, only i won't be listenning to it then, get the idea?

a song is what you picture it to be, before you listen to it, it loses most of its power and energy, its lyrics lose their true meaning, a guitar solo will sound lame...

maybe stuff like that shouldn't be said in public it would hurt some people, its my mistake.

Well they make music to cater as much different type of people as possible. They know hardcore fans will still buy their albums, so they make music that will appeal to this generation, else they will be left with minimal fans. And hey, it works for them.

We might not care about the money they make, but they do, and they can say they dont care if we buy their albums or not, a lot will still do so anyway. Besides, every tour, they still sing Prayer, Blaze of Glory and what not.

thats where you went wrong, they can't

They did one or two good songs with Crush, what came after sounded the same, i as a loyal fan, bought Crush, then bought Bounce, although i wasn't 100% convinced, and i never bought HAND, i listenned to one or two of the songs, full of clichets, the same sound...

So as a band, it is better that they quit, they are not giving what they should be giving, they are living on the glories of their past, look at Aerosmith, at their age they were still releasing some of their best songs ever.

Well I agree they sound the same, esp. the message - Its My Life, Everyday, Have a Nice Day. Im not defending them, but Im seeing this in their perspective, as businessmen. If they are still making money, why not? The more songs they release, the more songs they will be remembered for. Its not as if people will forget their classics just cuz they made songs like Welcome, Who Says You Cant Go Home, etc...

Besides, I for one, as much as I love the old songs, esp. Bad Medicine, like the new songs for what they are. I find coolness in Last Cigarette, Just Older, Save the World, Last Man Standing, etc...

And yes, Aerosmith ROCKS!

And I didnt mean it literally, I mean they can hardly care if one wont buy it, since worldwide, it will still sell millions, and their tours alone will mostly be full packed.

I thought the last two Aerosmith records stunk. So, it really is all opinion. I actually LOVE HAND. It happens that sometimes you out grow a band for whatever the reason and that sounds like maybe that is what has happened to you.
