You see, that's cool. I disagree though, but that's cool.
However what I didn't like was that you immediately had to assume negative things about a news item almost the minute it popped up. Now you're saying "IF Jon wants...", in your initial post you said something like "I bet he will...". It wouldn't be such a big deal, if you would not do it so very often. I can not change it, but I can and will voice my opinion about it.

Well, if your opinion about this band is something negative each time you open your mouth, then yes, I think you should stop it - at least on a Bon Jovi board. There's a difference between being critical and bashing every possible and impossible time.

So instead of just posting your opinion about the news your first reply is aimed at me because I assume a few things. Things who aren't really that weird considering Jon's thoughts of how to make more money out of things. I've posted something like that because I completely have lost my faith in one of the once biggest front men of the eighties and nineties.


You know very well what I mean. Rip things out of the context and my replies look silly but you do understand my point of view. But because I am so generous I will try to explain it again.

I post my opinion. You log in. The first thing you do is bash me for writing a negative post. Instead of first posting your opinion about the subject, you just start to post about how negative I am. You don't talk about the subject at all unless I ask you about your opinion but continue to discuss my point of view.

What other people do when quoting me is telling me their opinion and why they disagree with me. Something you rarely do when it comes to my posts. That's what's getting worn out, boring and old.

Yes it is. But you talk about the negativity itself. And instead of asking why I am so negative, you just reply with basically the same each time without explaining any of your points. No talk about my opinion, just talk about my negativity and therefore no talk about the subject at all.

But posting each time how good a band is (like Obie O' Bliss does) isn't?

This band isn't 2000-2005 only. I am a fan of the band Bon Jovi 1986-1998. I am critical and as soon as there's a show on the Bounce tour, or any upcoming tour, that was great I'll post that as well. Try to find my review of the Gelsenkirchen show (not that it's easy without a search function) and you'll find out that I was positive about a show that most people hated.

Most of the things Bon Jovi does since Crush aren't that great. Everything is getting less music orientated more money orientated.

When you re-read my initial post and use your brain, you will see that there's my opinion about the subject included.

I didn't rip anything out of context. The two sentences were very easy and clear. They referred both to me and both to how I responded to you.
They don't look silly, they are in this case.

I didn't bash you. I rarely post "just" my opinion. I take aspects of other people's opinions that seem disputable to me and throw in the things I think are also relevant to it.
So my initial post would read: of course, they will cash in with a concert, it won't be for free. Might be that there is a Soul connection, so what?

Why should I ask you this? You "explain" it a lot. It's not that I don't get why you feel this way. I don't get why it forces you to interpret every little thing so that it suits your preconceived opinion.

Not exactly, no. I see what you mean and you know that I don't like the blind follower's as well, but yes, I think people on a BJ board will quite likely tend to be positive about that band. Isn't it natural?
