I think it was laziness or rather lack of interest from Jon's side. He's clearly stated that he wanted nothing to do with the album ("turned it in in a brown paper bag"). He obviously was at a point where you felt let down by the label and didn't give a shit. I can very well imagine him having done the bare minimum on these tracks in terms of recording and then just telling Shanks "do what you need to finish it up". Hence Shanks needing to reuse the same chants again and again.

I thought the same, but what I took away from BB is that they didn't do the usual over production job on some of the tracks, which was a positive. They were complete and weren't tinkered with as much as THINFS

That's what makes Burning Bridges better than THINFS is the fact that the songs don't sound over processed and all the elements of each song don't sound like they've been randomly mashed together.

I love the brown paper bag album; definitely one of my favorite post These Days album. We Don't Run is amazing and I love the way the album kicks off with a slow song and the opening lyrics to Teardrop.. really nice... Beautiful song. There are definitely some I don't love like I'm Your Man but overall great album.

It's clear only retarded people on this board have an issue with the abbreviations. This board has worked with abbrevations ever since its existence and a true fan would know what every abbreviation stands for. If you don't know what it means you're just not a true fan.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Haha that's true If one can't deal with BOBITA, there's no place on this board...
