Here in Germany there's a BJ-coverband where the singer has a very similar voice to Jon. When you don't look at him while he is singing you really think it's Jon.

You mean Kon Chauvi?

I've heard a few short mp3's and they're doing a pretty good job

I doubt she meant Kon Chauvi. I've got their CD and the guy sounds nothing like Jon. They do a pretty good job of making the music sound like the studio versions, but the singer was definitely not a Jon-soun-alike.

The Kon Chauvi cd is ok to listen to after a four pack and a pizza, you know, something a bit different to listen to, but still on a BJ theme!!!

I meant Kon Chauvi. I've seen them live once and turned from the stage when they started their set. They started with Prayer acoustic and the voice sounded exactly like Jon. It was like the original was playing.

By the way, even Jon and Richie like them and say that they are very good.

yours
Christine

I think Kon Chauvi are doing a pretty good job. Some songs are better others are weaker. I've seen them 2 or 3 times because friends wanted to go and my ex onces bought tickets for us for their "An Evening with Kon Chauvi" gig cause she thought it would make me happy. I don't give a b b b b b b how good a tribute band is cause it's just fake and it doesn't give me anything to see them perform. Well, of course I didn't tell my ex that.

I have to say that By Jovi are a really good tribute band - definitely the next best thing in my opinion.
