I like to think I'm quite good........**** it, when I'm on form I'm bloody brilliant

I know quite a lot about music, but not in a technical way, I've never done the classical background stuff, I learnt to play by trying to copy Jon Lord, Keith Emerson, and basically evolve my own style from this......

I know quite a lot about guitars as.
a) I know a lot about music, and although it's a different instrument, musically there are a lot of similarities, in the way you can play anycase.
b) I have spent a lot of time playing, recording, and writting (i.e hours a week for the last 3-4 years) with Tom, who's an excellent guitarest, and have a good idea about what he is doing, and what's difficult to play, and what isn't
c) I've seen many many guitarests. The likes of Vai, Satch, Clapton, Page, Moore, Howe the list goes on and on. I know what good guitar playing is, and I know what good guitar playing isn't. I've also got used to hearing what would be difficult to play, largely because it's that point in concerts when Tom says "i'm the worst guitarest in the world".....he gets his own back on me at Wakeman, Purple, Emerson gigs.
how old are you? it would take me a life time to know all that about music...
lol. You have to remember, that I don't have a life outside of music..... Litterally.

I have one real friend (i.e somebody I'd make an effort to see as opposed to just having friends because htey're convinient), who is also the guitarest in my band, who also has more or less an identical music taste to me......
I spend all my money on either concert tickets or keyboards, and all my time listening to music, or playing music.....

Also, I do try to go to all the shows I possiably can do... For instance, I usually end up going to quite a few concerts during exam times, when I should really be revising.... Last year I went to see Wakeman in a Pub/club in Crew (a bout 1h drive) the night before an exam...... It finished about 12, got home about 1:30. and had my exam at 9!

Also, I've been going to rock concerts since I was 11, and have been listening to bands like Genesis, Gabrial, Dire Straits since I was about 5, and that was at a knowing all the lyrics at that age!
So in a way, it has been something of a lifetime allready!

The only way that Bounce can be saved is by realeasing 'BOUNCE'- such a great track that takes u back to the Slippery, New Jersey and KTF days. i suppose u could argue that what's the point in looking to the past- but it's the only way to intrest new fans. those days were great- we just have to let the rookies in on it.
AALY- i don't think will do as well here in the UK cause it's not the kind of track that the people want- i seriously don't think that they should release that at all- it's not their best ballad to say the least...

huff, doesn't take me back!!!!!!!!!!!

If you think that Bounce resebles even slightly the type of song on Slippery New Jersey and KTF then you've been listeneing to different albums than the rest of us!!!!!!!!!

if they would release bounce the may have a hit, but it doesn't take us back to the glory of NJ, SWW and KTF. many people would probably react if they heard bounce on the radio, and probably think its a good song (maybe...), but thats just it.
bon jovi should forgett bounce and move on...

actually Bon Jovi did release Bounce to Rock radio stations at the same time as missunderstood. It still wasn't the main single and it still did not have a video but it still kinda was released to those radio stations in more of a heavy Rock format.Missunderstood was the Adult/top 40 main single.

That means nothing. I've heard Undivided on Total Rock, that doesn't mean it's been released in any way.
