It's probably just the way whoever typed the list wrote them out. One Wild Night, for instance... Jon said he worked with Richie and Desmond on the chorus and after they left, he wrote the verses without them because the song was on his mind. Their writing process usually starts with a title, branches into the chorus and then they work out the verses. In official publications, Jon is always listed first, Richie second, and any outside co-writers last. I think David is listed second if he cowrites a song... they probably go in alphabectical order when securing the publishing rights.
