Do those sales include downloads? If not, I'd expect low numbers. Most people seem to download these days.

No idea. Either way, it's a bar showing where sales or downloads by purchase of artists is at these days.

Total bullshit.

What About Now was released as a single and didn't even make a dent on the singles chart. In fact, I don't I ever heard it on the radio. Because We Can was the best choice for a single to start off. It's the follow ups they screwed up on.

Because We Can is their second lead single that didn't make a dent on the Hot 100.

Does it matter? Look at the Hot 100 chart. It's a joke.

If Because We Can failed as a single, so would have any other song on the album.

Totally agreed with Danfan, WAN did worse than Because We Can, it's the most radio friendly song on the album and the fact that it was by Bon Jovi doesn't help anymore.

The Bon Jovi "pick yourself up by the bootstraps" message is just old and tiresome. The BWC lyrics are so cheesy.

But who other than Jon really cares about a #1 single? I just want good music! When was the last time Aerosmith or U2 or Springsteen or the Stones had a #1 single? I suspect a VERY long time ago, but who cares! As long as they're making music their fans like and they're playing great shows, shouldn't that be the main focus? Not chasing a #1 hit 30-40 years into their careers.
