Celebrating SWW30: RARE STUFF #10 - 'Kerrang' October 1986 & August 1987 articles and 'Secret Society' Fan Club interviews

30 years ago, Bon Jovi had just finished their hugely successful tour behind their smash hit album 'Slippery When Wet'. At this point (december 1987) there's no time for holiday (except for maybe Alec!) because Jon's hungry for another run, meaning new album and tour. Pressure is huge. Right after the tour ends, band starts writing and demoing stuff and end up writing almost 30 songs to their follow up to Slippery When Wet. Out of those 30 tracks they polish 12 to be released in September 19, 1988 on their greatest album to date *New Jersey'. But let's not go there just yet...

This final part of the series is a compilation of non-posted articles from the Slippery When Wet era which I wanted to share with all of you because of their rarity and information.

There are two interviews from the famous Uk music mag Kerrang, first from the fall of 1986 before their UK tour and second from August of 1987 before Donnington festival. And the real cream of the crop and rarest articles of this whole series are full band interviews from Bon Jovi's first official fan club 'Secret Society''s magazines in 1986-1987.

Happy holidays!! This is my Christmas gift to all of you...it's the best time of the year so please share the love and empathy, also with those you don't fully understand or agree with.

That statement from Alec about being in the studio is rather curious, looking back.

Yes! I have some ideas! Just completed my collection of "Backstage with Bon Jovi" magazines (1989-1990) @ ebay, have loads of Kerrang magazines, various Bon Jovi only magazines and my clippings collection collected during 1989-1991.
