You should try listening to Thin Lizzy's "The Boys are Back in Town" and then listen to "Never Say Die" from Jon's "Blaze of Glory" album. The intro is basically just the same thing.

More differentiation in that than in the OP example... the it's just me one is almost as bad as every coldplay song in terms of theft

I was listening to JBJ's Young Guns today & as soon as that intro came on i was singing the chorus to Boys Are Back In Town

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Jon played both of those solo's.

He was talking about August 7th, not Free World, haha. Jon did all the guitar tracks on August 7th. Bobby played on none of these.

That second solo on Free World is total Jon.
