I know Jon started spouting off ages ago about his 'riff rock record' because 'they' wouldn't let him back in Nashville. However, can someone give me a concise definition of 'riff rock'? What I currently understand Riff Rock to be is a song composed mostly (or completely) of one distinct, repetitive riff, e.g. the Rolling Stones' "I Can't Get No (Satisfaction)".
