You know you're a super troll when you attack one of the nicest members of this forum for no reason.

Calling out someone's stupidity is not attacking somebody.

And when you say 'no reason', does that include the past comments she made towards my previous posts?

Just. Stop. There is absolutely no need for you to behave like a dick all of the time, what exactly is it you think you're acheiving? I've had enough of you figuratively strutting around like you own the place, so consider this fair warning ... You've already been temporarily banned once (and left once of your own accord, whatever happened to that?), so if you keep up the bullying I will be pushing for another ban, perhaps permenantly this time.

The worst of it is, you actually raise a good point, albeit one that had already occured to me when I suggested Army Of One would be a better album title (also, note I suggested it, so I dont know why you are picking on Kathleen). As it is a fair enough point, I'll address it like you are actually a civilised human being, rather than the ridiculous hate filled ball of rage that you come across like. Yes, you could read Army Of One as indicating that this is more like a Jon solo album, but I dont think the average person on the street really would. Bear in mind that the album was released before Richie left the tour, and before all these rumours of power struggles emerged. Besides which, the song itself is clearly about personal empowerment, so any ulterior meaning would clearly be imaginary. Plus the title fits with the album artwork

For what it is worth (probably nothing), I didn't view Rdkopper's remark as an attack at all much less directed specifically at Kathleen. It was a general comment. Comments elsewhere on the blog that say things like "this is the stupidest post ever on this forum," "you are an idiot," "you are a po-faced douche," I view as attacks and yet those posters never get called out by a moderator. I know that Rdkopper has been banned before and his comments get jumped on but there is obviously a history that I am not privy to as I just don't see the reason.

I don't think the name would have changed anything sales-wise. People either bought this album because it was "the new Bon Jovi album" or they ignored it for the same reason (or because they had never heard of it). In any case, the album name wouldn't have made a difference.

Just for fun though, I think Beautiful World would have been a decent title. Plus, it being the title track would give Jon an excuse to play it live since it's a crying shame that What About Now is done every night and Beautiful World isn't.

No it isn't but it's rather blind sided when you're obviously far dumber than the person you're attacking.

I think the only thing would have helped WAN fair better are a few more half decent tracks!!

I will admit there is a fine line between banter and genuine nastiness, but I do think RDKoppers history speaks for itself. He clearly has no respect for anyone, and derails thread after thread. See the Themes of These Days thread for a recent example. This post of his has wound me up specifically, but its far from an isolated incident

Let me just stress some points here. First of all, I love how I get blamed for the "Themes of These Days thread". Why don't you learn who the player are before you give me the blame here. It's so clear that Ticos-Stick was trying to be dick and stir up that thread. For some reasons you UK folks love to take Jabs at Americans.

Rdkopper:
(we were discussing why TDs was rejected in the us). Not musically but more so how the album ranked with fans, radio, and the general public.
ticos_stick:
America rejected Bon Jovi for making a soulful masterpiece. Why?
Rdkopper:
For the same reason why so many other soulful masterpieces get ignored. It's not the current trend.
ticos_stick:
So you're saying Europeans are more cultured then?
Gabriel Shoes:
Because Bon Jovi is seen as a "party band" in the US. Every single attempt to do a more serious kind of music got the same end for Bon Jovi.
ticos_stick:
Yeah, that's pretty much the case I think. It's not to say that Americans aren't into serious music but most American Bon Jovi fans aren't.
Rdkopper:
It has nothing to do with Americans being into serious music. It just wasn't the in thing so radio wasn't giving it a fair chance.
ticos_stick:
Who runs radio in America? Americans. I rest my case.
Rdkopper:
Money runs radio in America.
This is where I called Ticos-Dick out for the reason why America is such a World Power.

Then somehow Seb, Panda, Devilson, etc all magically appeared. I thought they were all vacationing somewhere together, they've been so quiet lately but somehow magically found this thread. It's like a group of rats sniffing out a piece of cheese...... And let me also point out bty, that the UK is considered a world power too.

Next, I wasn't being a dick to Kathleen. She has a history of budding into other quarrels of mine that she had nothing to do with, adding her 2 cents, and taking sides with the obvious players so she deserves a shot once in a while. Kathleen is a big girl who could take care of herself.

Third, why would you call me out publically? You could have sent me a PM and handled this professionally. You are just as guilty for derailing a thread.

Forth, It's always been said that this is not Backstage and we have the freedoms to post whatever we want. IMO, that includes tones too. I'm not a corny person so If I get rough with someone for making stupid remarks, they should be able to deal with it. I NEVER resort to name calling until after the fact when it's 5 against 1. aka the "Themes of These Days thread".

Fifth, I'm not going to change or kiss anyone's ass, so if you want to ban me, go right ahead. I give more than I get from this place. Fans like me give more than the usual rank your favorite X, and your worst Y post. Or Panda's usual intelligent "what if Bon Jovi was dead" post.

I'm not going to get into my band resume but it's pretty impressive. The unfortunate part about all this is, I'm usually right.... BTY, Keep The Faith was supposed to be a double album.
