There wouldnt be any point to him trying the chorus of Prayer, we do a good enough job on his behalf!

Its a no to the other two, but Id happily have certain high notes missing from songs rather than having those songs completely missing just cos Jon cant reach for those notes.

Agreed.

And no, he probably couldn't to all 3. But I'd rather he didn't **** his voice up, and just did what he can. But maybe that's just me...Besides, it's fun to sing along to Prayer.

Why should he try to sing the high notes on Prayer, noone hears it cause everybody in the audience screams it out so loud instead

Plus it's nice for Jon to tell the audience to get involved and not them doing it cos they want to.

If that makes sense. I know what I mean.

I like the chorus of Prayer the way it is.
I doubt we'd ever see My Guitar again anyway.
As for STBI, I'm not sure.
I really would love to find out though (Hint Hint)

Jon hasn't been singing the LOAP chorus, but I have seen/heard him doing the "Livin' on a pra-y-er" at 2:55 (right before the guitar solo) and that's pretty high.

I doubt they'd ever do "My Guitar..." although, he could certainly change the notes to fit his range.

As far as the STBI screams, that is very hard on the voice, and I wouldn't want him doing those live. Richie doesn't even do the IBTFY scream live, and he's not the singer! Personally, I would love to hear STBI live, just without the screams (I'm sure the crowd would supply them, anyway!)

Don't think he could do Prayer.

As for My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms, that is a song I really want to hear live. Can only hope!

As for Something To Believe In, many people seem optimistic about it so I may as well be. I think they would probably just change it to fit Jon's preferance.

I think he should sing Prayer...he can't sing it high but he should just sing it, not only let the crowd sing...
He could do My Guitar, only without that 10 sec high note at the and...
STBI... I think Richie could sing that very well...not to sure about Jon...

No need to start singing all of Prayer after 20 years.
And 80% of the crowd will name Prayer as the highlight of the show, even on nights when Jon's vocals are straining the whole way through the song, because they don't hear him anyway.

I think My Guitar would be deceptively hard to do live even before it gets to the climax. We don't want Jon to start haemorrhaging or anything.

Something to Believe In could be performed at some point, I doubt it would be with the screaming though. But he could just sing that "I need somethiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing to believe in" part towards the end lower and I think it'd sound fine.
