But I actually think Santa Fe is not only far superior to Blaze Of Glory, but also to any other song Jon has ever released, with or without the band (with the possible exceptions of These Days and Dry County).

I always like reading your reviews (I've been checking this forum out for a while before I registered). Like most people I don't always agree, but I like the way you examine and analyse the songs. I'm looking foward to Stranger In This Town. Good job and keep them coming!

its shit why bother?

I have never been sure exactly why - but Blaze of Glory is one of my favorite albums. I dislike most country music and I'm not too fond of the whole cowboy theme - but I love listening to this album. I think Jon's vocals have a lot to do with that - he really sings here. I also think that Santa Fe is a very underrated song - in my opinion it's one of Jon's strongest songs.

Whether or not this is Jon's first solo album or not it's certainly a million times better than his other one. I agree with some of the review like Blaze and Santa Fe although this should get 5 stars in my opinion apart from crap Jon solo. I must pull you up though on Justice In The Barrel which is one of my favourites. It's a great song with cool lyrics and great guitar work from Jeff Beck. How you can call it filler and rate it below the dirge that is Dyin Aint Much Of A Livin is beyond me. That really is filler and along with You Really got me is the worst song on the album by far.

Peoples reviews are always good for a debate and are obviously subjective. Yours don't always agree with mine but they are thorough although I always thought it was Young Guns II star Lou Diamond Phillips who sang the intro to Justice rather than "Some Native American singer" I haven't checked though so I could be wrong. I do agree with the person who told you that no one asked you to do these reviews though, you can't come on demanding we all respond, people will do it if they're interested.

for the person who writs them, can you please state in the title of the Post that this is going to be a review so i don't waste my time opening them and then even tryig to read something (for whatever reason i do that, i don't know)
