popular=pop - you got it all my friend!
unfortunatly the catchy annoying pop songs are the most apreciated nowadays
i gotta say i like the album version of misunderstood- but the single-version is totally annoying (disgusting e-guitars and the most senseless use of echo during that iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii at the chorus)
I totally agree. I don't think the single version really captured the song.

Say it isn't so is much, much worse IMO!! Or Misunderstood too.

But I've never been thrilled about AALY either. Well, perhaps at the very beginning, but now I'm tired of it and The Distance would have been *the* single off Bounce!

Im sorry. I just dont see how anyone could hate You had me from hello. Its one of my faves off the record, and if they had to release any ballad as a single, it definately should of been this one. Maybe its just me. Maybe its coz I can relate to the lyrics.

I can understand how your opinion of a song can change if the lyrics strike a chord....I really like 'Open All Night' for the same reason! I just think that 'You had me from Hello' sounds more like a boy band than Jovi.
