Dance of The Dead - Jon Bon Jovi | Aldo Nova - Blood on The Bricks

During the preparation of the "Blood on the Bricks" album Jon Bon Jovi and Aldo Nova write a lot of songs together for the Aldo album in 1990. Some of it never appear on the final cd in 1991.

"Dance Of The Dead" was covered by band Bangalore Choir in 1992 much to Jon and Aldo displeasure as the singers song's lyrics were changed from "Dance Of The Dead" to "Doin' the Dance." FRANCK LASLLE

Was Hey Jonny the original version of Hey Ronnie before they re-wrote it?

Yes. It's literally about Aldo singing to Jon on how they used to be best friends. There is a demo out there but the quality isn't good. I wasn't sure if something better surfaced.

Yeah, the title track "Blood On The Bricks" has been on repeat in my office for 72 hours and counting.
