Yeah at that time, bands like Skid Row and Bon Jovi were all over MTV and radio. I remember the good ol' Headbangers Ball show MTV had on every sunday. Those were the days.........

18 & life, I remember you and youth gone wild were all played at least five times a day.

I can remember them featuring on headbangers ball. I was hooked and went out and got my hands on the album. Brilliant. Also love slave to the grind.

Yeah as an album as a whole I prefer Slave To The Grind. In A Darkened Room and Wasted Time are masterpieces.

I love the first two albums. After that they tried WAY too hard to be "heavy" and "dark". Subhuman Race only has a few tracks I like to listen to. The compilation had a few nice "new" songs. But there's no replacing Sebastian as the lead singer, even though he might be a douchebag. The guy has an amazing voice and ability, although he's pretty unpredictable in live performances in terms of his voice...

This - I love their first two albums, the debute more but I don't like their live performances. Sure, I haven't seen them live but at least from videos. Baz only screams and beautiful songs like I Remember You are destroyed.

I think Bach's voice was incredible, I liked it way better than Jon's. The track "Livin' on a chaingang" is awesome, best vocals ever.

Agreed. Recently saw this "live" video and it was awful (the vocals clearly were overdubbed a lot in the studio afterwards):
However, in his prime, this guy's voice was maybe my favorite one in the rock'n'roll business. Such an amazing range!
