They sound very very tight. Snake is praising the singer in that interview - but to me that was their weakest piece. Otherwise, they sound fantastic. Here's a Judas Priest cover:

Dean Fasano was the former vocalist with the band before he joined Message. By the way, Message's first album "Lessons"(1982) rocks. The album features Richie Sambora on guitar and Alec John Such on bass.

It's an interesting fact that Alec is Phantom's Opera co-founder. He founded the band together with Jack Young (the keyboard player) in 1969. Tico left the band to join Franke & the Knockouts in 1981 .
