I don't think they've got single song that's completly right. But then again, Jovi've had mistakes on their CD covers as well. Bitter Wine is a prime example.

I was actually interested in the link Iceman posted, it was a nice little trival thing I never knew of.

Um guys, I'm pretty sure the lyric is supposed to be a play on both. As in "Dear Jon" referencing JBJ, but also as a traditional "Dear John" letter. That's always been my take on it anyway.

I'm not sure what the problem is here. There is every bit of a chance that Stick To Your Guns may be played, there are certain slots in the set for that. That they haven't played it or that they don't just play 5 static songs and wildly swap out the rest of the set is unrealistic and a bit naive.

They did exactly that at the show they played Stick To Your Guns. The opener was changed right before the band came on, Bad Medicine was scrapped and 5 songs were added to the set that weren't planned that night at all. And those 5 songs were Rockin' All Over The World, Diamond Ring, Always, Just Older and an impromptu acoustic version of Stick To Your Guns. So it's not unrealistic at all and they can do it anytime they want to. They just don't.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

You have my point in reverse. People are practically expecting them to play just 5 songs that don't change every night while the rest of the set is changed wildly to their delight. The current set has at least 5 points that they will and have been changing up (actually more than that.) Blood On Blood also remains as flexible. They've worked out a nice lighting progression for it, but it's obvious they do mean for the opening song to be optionally changed with time. Just give them time.
