Def Leppard vs. Bon Jovi

i like both bands DEF LEPPARD-BONJOVI-but i dont see the things u are all talkin about here who cares what band is better then the other its the music that counts here both bands need our support and help them too succed and move a-head in the business.but good article anyway?

hmm Def Leppard have stayed true to their sound whereas Bon Jovi have changed their style a lot, to be honest if Bon Jovi still wrote like Def Leppard I think they would be great and the albums would be great, thats not saying the newer albums are crap, just not the original Jovi sound

compare the old and new albums for example, very different sound whereas Def. have stayed true to their original sound, is this intentional or just a lack of new ideas? who knows

Correct me if I'm mistaken - But I thought it was international support that got BJ through the KTF / These Days years in which there was apparently very little support in the US.

There is a British Dream (Look at Robbie) - Its just alot colder & wetter

Why am I getting credit for such a War with DL?? I was down the pub / watching the Two towers

They wouldn't let me take a laptop in

Well Mike, the signiture on the VH1 board is making people think that you started this, but hey, that post was great

nothing to be ashamed of.

I like Def Leppard, the groups early stuff was really good, but lately it ain't been too great. I don't think it's a good idea to stick to the original stuff thats why Bon Jovi are really the only band that were popular are still as popular as they where in the 80's. The only way to survive the grunge era was to change there style of rock, and that worked. It means that Bon Jovi can have new fans everyday.
