Grow up. Stick to the discussion at hand. If you disagree with me about Aerosmith and Def Leppard, at least try to do so in a dignified and intelligent manner rather than spewing utter nonsense. You don't have the foggiest clue what I think about Jon. And, exactly how is being a Jon fan related to not being a Def Lep or Aerosmith fan? Hmmmmm? Oh yeah, it's not. It sounds like you can't get over another discussion on the board. Any valid point you tried to make was overidden by your ignorant arguments.

As I said, I gave up on DL and Aerosmith because of the similarities of the albums I do own buy them. I'm certainly not going to waste my money on their other releases just because you or anyone else says they've improved. I have Aerosmith CDs from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. I find their repetition boring. I have DL CDs from High n Dry to Adrenalized and they all sound the same. Listen to what you want to listen to, and I'll listen to what I want to listen to.

Becky
You know Becky, i actually don't understand why people insist you live, breathe, and die Jon. Seriously I think you have intelligent conversations about things without getting gaga over him. Where did all this come from? I mean, I like Bon Jovi. Damn right I like Jon! Duh.

Oh yeah! Thanks Javier, that reminds me of another point. Lyrically, Lef is fluff. They have always admitted to that too. They're not deep lyricists and they constantly use the same cliche lines over and over. It's their melodies that make them an interesting band, IMO. If they were to make their lyrical drivel into a book of poetry, it would be pretty laughable stuff.

Good point about supporting them. But I don't see Lep moving forward in the business anymore, so to speak. They are basically making music for their fan base, not for critical acclaim or chart toppers. It's over. Now it's back to the basics for them - making music for the joy of it and their fans. Same may be said about Bon Jovi, but the commercial success element with them is a lot stronger, so they're still charting and gaining new fans. As well as new respect from some critics who had called them a pretty pop band back in the day.

Yeah. You're right.

It's better than this:

Make Love
Like A man
I'm a Man

The Def Leppard Anthology:

Love is like a BOMB baby - c'mon get it on

I miss you in a heartbeat
'cause it ain't love, if it don't feel that way (DUH)

Hot licks on the tip of my tongue
Electric you turn your headlight on

I wanna touch U - Till we're stuck like glue (gross)
I wanna touch U - Yeah, baby, that is true
I wanna touch U - Nobody else will do, no

Women! women! - Lots of pretty women
Men! men! - They can't live without them
Women! women! - Lots of pretty women
Men! men! - They can't live without them
Hair, eyes, skin on skin
Legs - Legs
Thighs - Thighs
What's that spell?
(Spell? what's that spell?)
(What's that spell?)
What's that spell?
(What's that spell?)
(Women, women)
Oh! oh! oh!
Oh! oh! oh!

Oh my sides- the pain - from laughing.
By the way - I do like Def Leppard.
