As I said, I gave up on DL and Aerosmith because of the similarities of the albums I do own buy them. I'm certainly not going to waste my money on their other releases just because you or anyone else says they've improved. I have Aerosmith CDs from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. I find their repetition boring. I have DL CDs from High n Dry to Adrenalized and they all sound the same. Listen to what you want to listen to, and I'll listen to what I want to listen to.

If my arguments are ignorant, then they aren't more ignorant as yours maam. There is nothing wrong with not supporting DL/Aerosmith anymore, it's one's own right to not support any band. Nowhere in my argument I stated that you have to like them or even purchase their newer albums because they're not the same as the older ones (hey it's your money, do whatever you want with it). It's just the reason that they 'sound the same' is ignorant. I've seen similar stupid arguments in DL message boards when they trash BJ and I always argue against that because the arguments there don't make sense either just like yours. Had you said something like "I don't like Aerosmith because they went pop" or "Aerosmith is a sellout because they performed a song penned by Dianne Warren" or "I don't like DL either right now because their lyrics in X are so goddamn cheesey and they're trying too hard to get a hit", then there's no problem at all. These have validity. But saying that these two bands are 'stuck' or 'sound the same in every album' is just as stupid as the arguments over in DL board where they say "BJ is just a band with a pretty face and that's why they're so big now." or "BJ is successful because Jon acts in movies" or "It's My Life is just a remake of Livin on A Prayer" or "BJ is trying to cash in with Bounce because it has 9/11 references". Do you see my point maam or are you still blinded by Jon's armpit hairs? (if you don't like my sarcasm, tough and grow up and don't go cryin to your cats - valid points are valid points and can't be overriden by the cherry on the top)

Of course there are dumber arguments above me that says "So and so sucks because they suck and suck forever" but these statements just don't need counter arguments because by doing that I will lower my IQ to their level
I would like to see Phil's interview if you can show the link me Javier. I haven't read that one yet. And I agree, they're trying TOO HARD to get a hit with X. It's just a bit too soft for me.
