Desmond Child made all the classic singalong choruses. Bon Jovi wouldn't have been successful without his touch. I'm all for Desmond working with Bon Jovi. True, besides the classic LOAP, Bad Name, Bad RX, KTF, etc etc etc, they produced turds like Diamond Ring, but hey most of These Days are turds anyway. On the same token, Def Leppard should get Mutt back in the studio with them and start writing good tunes again. Rock bands should not be ashamed of working with a well known producer, if they've proven that they work well together. Unless you're Metallica and the producer is Bob Rock.

This proves just how little you know about the band Kiss. Thanks Alpha for backing me up. Paul has said in NUMEROUS interviews that the song was his way of showing how easy it was to write a Disco song.

The genius behind Bon Jovi is not Desmond Child. It was Bruce Fairbairn.

Sadly he passed away at a young age just as they were about to start working together again.

If only he had produced the last couple of albums ....

Had he produced Crush, we'd of gotten songs like Real Life. As much as I like the song, the album would have been poppier than Crush was, methinks.
