Default Desmond Child: "Slippery is the album I'm most proud of"

Nice little interview with Desmond including some BJ bits. He says Prayer is one of the best, if not the best song he has written. Nothing really new but nice read anyway.

“Livin’ On A Prayer” is one of the best songs –if not the best- that I’ve written in my entire life

So Jon didn't write most of it. I wonder how much Jon contributed.

You're reading into it too much. David has said he wrote In These Arms, it doesn't mean he wrote it all alone.

Well, Richie wrote the chorus. So that again leaves us to wonder what Jon contributed.

Also:

I had four songs on “Slippery When Wet”
So, was I'd Die For You written with DC after all, or is he refering to Edge Of A Broken Heart?

Jon brought in Tommy and Gina. Without his input it would have remained George and Lucinda. Nah but Lyrically the verses are full of Jon's cliche's....

Could be anything that isn't the chorus

Interesting version of ITA you seem to be familiar with.

And Tommy was originally Jonny - Jonny and Gina. Jon objected to that.
