Do you know where I could find an mp3 version of the song's instrumental?
I had one on a special edition of TD but can't find it :-s

There is no such thing as a special edition of These Days with an instrumental on it, they've never released one. The best you could do is buy some karaoke version of the song somewhere if you really, really want it. It wont sound the same though.

There is, it was on a second disc with instrumentals of KTF, SDIBSN and a couple of others.

There isn't. What you're thinking of is the book version titled "Karaoke Days". It contained a book with all the lyrics, a band biography, a discography and a bonus disc with 4 songs that missed the lead vocal, making them perfect for karaoke. I've got this edition (and no I'm not sharing anything), here's the information from my personal archive:

Luxury edition of These Days. The package contained a book in full Japanese with the entire Japanese Bon Jovi discography listed, and a full description of all the videos they had done for their songs. Further on, it contained a bonus disc which had 4 instrumental songs on it that included the backing vocals. Very rare, and very nice as well.
