Sadly, I think this is a very realistic possibility. There's no way that Bon Jovi will finish this tour and go into a new album/tour cycle considering what has happened. So, you have to question whether Tico at his age will be want to remain in the band. I can't see how David or Richie feel creatively fulfilled with their roles in the band. I'm sure David will be much more motivated to work on his broadway projects and Richie will surely focus on solo efforts.
I don't think the band will break up or officially retire but rather go their separate ways when the tour is done. Jon will probably end up doing a solo album of acoustic stuff where he tries to get into a tom waits, leonard cohen mindset, and do a few shows with Bobby, Lorenza et al.
The weird thing is, I reckon musically the future is brightest for Richie. The way he talked and promoted Aftermath was the last time since maybe 2005 where someone from the band seemed genuinely passionate and excited about their new music.
Edit - I should say that Jon seemed genuinely excited and passionate about his music for Stand Up Guys. Both Jon and Richie were clearly much more excited by their solo efforts then their band material.
