Interesting replies guys, and always enjoy hearing other people's opinions on different albums/songs. Without opinions, this world would be pretty boring!

The only reason Bounce has a soft spot with me is because it was the first time I saw them live, here in Milwaukee. Ever since I've seen them here 6 times. Still waiting for them to come here for The Circle tour. Maybe next year eh?

Ok, let me spin this another way, why can't the band just say "**** it, we've been doing this for almost 30 years, let's just play what WE want to play, and not care so much as to how the crowd reacts or what the record company says" ? You can't please everyone, so why not at least try to please your hardcore fan base that sticks with you through thick and thin? So far on this tour I've noticed they are really mixing it up a little with more obscure tracks, so that's a good thing.

BTW, one last thing since it relates to the Bounce era, does anyone have a decent live version of Keep The Faith from the LA or Anaheim 2003 show? I must say, they played the best version of KTF at those concerts from what I've seen on Youtube, they REALLY get into it, Jon adds these bomb noises to the jungle part. So cool! Sorry for the lengthy reply!

Bounce tour had the best versions of Saturday night, Keep the faith, Born to be my baby and some other tracks sooo i am always enjoying listening concerts from that era. The guys were in fire, at least in Europe. Check out concert from Amsterdam or Manchester.....and probably their best concert in Europe i would say Munich 2003!!! that show was i think one of their best!!!! I would die for that video recording!!!!
Bounce tour really rocks big time, Lh tour was shit against BT!

Because Bon Jovi aren't that kind of band. Unfortunately, for them, they've changed so many times that playing what they want would go over horribly. There's too many hits that people "need".

And I too LOVED the "BOOM" versions of KTF, definitely a tour highlight.

Here's Prayer from Madrid .

I don't get why people think the Bounce Tour was the best tour ever. To be honest, Jon's vocals sucked for most of it. They did give more energy than they seem to give nowadays, but not as much as they did even on the OWN tour.

I don't like when artists "disown" a studio album (unless it's as brutal as TLFR - then it's the right decision) and stop playing songs from a certain record. Yes, Bounce was a weak attempt in trying to 'rock' (of all rock bands they can copy, why did they choose the atrocious Creed), and the majority of the songs are BIG FAILS (The Distance, Hook Me Up, Love Me Back To Life, Joey, Right Side Of Wrong) but there are a couple of songs there like Undivided and the title track that deserve to be played in subsequent tours.

I agree, KTF in that tour was the bomb. Too awesome.

Id rate Undivided, Bounce and The Distance as a few of the best Bon Jovi songs ever. Hook Me Up isnt too bad either and I actually like Everyday and Misunderstood.

I actually enjoy majority of Bounce. The only songs I dislike from the album are You Had Me From Hello and Open All Night. They always get a skip out of me.

His voice might not have been the best, but he could really scream during KTF on that tour! Do you guys know if they still do jungle noise or sympathy with KTF on the Circle Tour? Haven't heard anything..

They did to Bounce what they started doing to BJ and 7800 all the way on the JS Tour, and have done ever since. Ignore material that wasn't very commercially successful, or doesn't fit with the current show.
