I actually enjoy majority of Bounce. The only songs I dislike from the album are You Had Me From Hello and Open All Night. They always get a skip out of me.
+1. I think Bounce could have been a "hit" if they had chosen better songs to take off the album. The selection from Bounce was especially poor, when you consider the quality of the singles released and the fact that Undivided, The Distance and Bounce were not released.

The problem with Bounce was the release of Everyday as a single. Worst song on the album by far. As much as I love the album, I frigging hate that song.

Default Bounce was better than Crush

Bounce was better than crush. I met bon jovi with Crush, but crush was famous because it's my life. Of course Crush has 6 song i like it. But Bounce has 8 song that they were great. It was not great on sale, but I know a lot of people like , misunderstood, everyday, bounce, undivided, and all about loving you. In fact Bounce it's the only Rock Album from 2000.

I don't know where you were, but Bounce was released in 2002.

Bounce is alright, has some great tracks on it and some not so. Judging from the outtakes it could have a much stronger album, both thematically and in terms of individual songs.

The only reason Bounce has a soft spot with me is because it was the first time I saw them live, here in Milwaukee. Ever since I've seen them here 6 times. Still waiting for them to come here for The Circle tour. Maybe next year eh?

Ok, let me spin this another way, why can't the band just say "**** it, we've been doing this for almost 30 years, let's just play what WE want to play, and not care so much as to how the crowd reacts or what the record company says" ? You can't please everyone, so why not at least try to please your hardcore fan base that sticks with you through thick and thin? So far on this tour I've noticed they are really mixing it up a little with more obscure tracks, so that's a good thing.

BTW, one last thing since it relates to the Bounce era, does anyone have a decent live version of Keep The Faith from the LA or Anaheim 2003 show? I must say, they played the best version of KTF at those concerts from what I've seen on Youtube, they REALLY get into it, Jon adds these bomb noises to the jungle part. So cool! Sorry for the lengthy reply!
Agree with you!

The Circle tour is already turning into a Greatest Hits tour ahead of the GH album release later this year!!

I was very disappointed not to hear more songs from The Circle at the 02 shows I went to, and I feel that was because Jon didn't get the crowd reaction he wanted. He really had to work the crowd.

But then TC took a lot of listening to before it grew on me. I'll admit the first time I heard it I thought it was crap! Too many sha la la's and cliched lyrics that have been used too many times.

I agree with the poster who said that TC songs won't feature much in future set-lists.

As for Bounce, there are some good tracks on the CD and it will be shame if they never play any of it again, Undivided, Love me back to life, 2 story town, hook me up. Never did like Misunderstood. I did enjoy hearing OAN live tho!

^ Two Story Town was from 'Crush'

Oh, and I think the poster who commented in size 80 font was saying Bounce was the best album Jovi have released since 2000.

I hate 'Everyday' as well. It's an awful track IMO and there were so many better tracks that were overlooked. 'Everyday' is to 'Bounce' what WWBTF is to 'The Circle' though - throwaway, radio-friendly garbage. They are getting pretty good at making songs like that and thinking they're good tracks unfortunately.

I quite like Everyday as well. It is the uglier of the triplets (IML & HAND), but youre right, its a fun rock song.

I always like to refer back to the track rankings which we did several months back where we ranked all the tracks from each album. The tracks from Bounce ordered like this (favourite to least favourite)

1. Undivided
2. The Distance
3. Bounce
4. Hook Me Up
5. Everyday
6. Joey
7. Love Me Back To Life
8. Right Side Of Wrong
9. Misunderstood
10. Postcards From The Wasteland
11. All About Lovin' You
12. No Regrets
13. You Had Me From Hello
14. Open All Night
