Really?! Anyone know the details? Jon recited the opening lines of Point Blank during the outro of Dry County at Chicago in July. I'd love to find the earlier one if anyone has the info.

EDIT - Well, sure enough. I had both of those shows in my "to be filed" folder which means I'd never listened to them. He did the same lines that he did in Chicago.

"On January 31, 1998, 20 musicians with ties to the Jersey shore music scene answered Jon Bon Jovi's call and gathered at the historic Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, New Jersey. The evening's purpose was to honor slain Long Branch police officer Sgt. Patrick King, and to raise money for a fund to provide for his family.
Fans of the assembled musicians were in for a special night. For Springsteen fans in particular, the show offered a near-reunion of the fabled E Street Band and Bruce's first full-length electric gig following the acoustic Joad Tour.
