Really?! Anyone know the details? Jon recited the opening lines of Point Blank during the outro of Dry County at Chicago in July. I'd love to find the earlier one if anyone has the info.

Off the top of my head Terri

Montreal 1994-12-06
Red Bank 1994-12-14

These are just snippets at the end of the song - not the entire thing.

Though I'm not sure I've ever seen video of this - I need to check further.

Thanks, Kathleen!

EDIT - Well, sure enough. I had both of those shows in my "to be filed" folder which means I'd never listened to them. He did the same lines that he did in Chicago.

Does a duet count? I recall a Bruce gig with Richie & Jon and BTR was in the set.

Rumours say that Born In The USA was actually covered once:

July 4, 1995, Naval Museum, Stockholm, Sweden Setlist:
1. Born In The USA (with Little Steven)
2. Livin' On A Prayer
3. You Give Love A Bad Name
4. Keep The Faith
5. Always
6. Blood On Blood
7. Hey God
8. The Boys Are Back In Town
9. Runaway
10. Stranger In This Town
11. Blaze Of Glory
12. I'd Die For You
13. Lay Your Hands On Me
14. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead

~ Jumpin' Jack Flash
15. Bad Medicine
16. Shout

Encore I:
17. These Days
18. Bed Of Roses
19. Wanted Dead Or Alive

Encore II:
20. This Ain't A Love Song

Though there's no recording available of that show, so we I can't state that it's a 100% true.

And just for the record - the Red Bank Rockers show on 1998-01 31 showcased Bruce and Jon and Southside - all singing each others songs. There are soundboard recordings of this ie. Red Bank Rockers or Blood on Blood and Crystal Cat audience recordings - Red Bank Night.

It was not the entire Bon Jovi band as Tico wasn't there though Richie and David were. Here is a text file I have:

liner notes:
--------------
"On January 31, 1998, 20 musicians with ties to the Jersey shore music scene answered Jon Bon Jovi's call and gathered at the historic Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, New Jersey. The evening's purpose was to honor slain Long Branch police officer Sgt. Patrick King, and to raise money for a fund to provide for his family.
Fans of the assembled musicians were in for a special night. For Springsteen fans in particular, the show offered a near-reunion of the fabled E Street Band and Bruce's first full-length electric gig following the acoustic Joad Tour.
Three years later, Fakida Records proudly presents the sounboard recording of this special night to the fans"

Musicians:

Bobby Bandiera
Jon Bon Jovi
Everett Bradley
David Bryan
Clarence Clemons
Rusty Cloud
Jerry Cohen
Danny Federici

Edward Manion
Hugh McDonald
Shawn Pelton

Richie La Bamba Rosenberg
