Does Hugh smoke? And Dave apart from the TLFR thing?

Personally, being around smoke makes me feel really sick, like I can't breathe etc, so I don't like seeing people I otherwise look up to smoke either... but I guess they are adults and must understand the potential consequences.

Bingo. They're ADULTS. They know what they're doing/the risks. All this talk of being "Role models" and what not. They're grown men in a rock band, they'll do whatever they want. Meh.

Well I don't think he smoked his first cigarette in 1994, but I think that he become active smoker then...
The main reason is because two greatest declines of his voice are from KTD to TD and from TD to Crush...
KTF is his best album vocally, but TD is far weaker than SWW and NJ...

Don't be ridiculous. It's not as if they gave up their right to freedom when they formed a band

In all the videos I have seen of the band I have never seen Richie smoke, huh.

Hah, yeah. That bit at the end where everyone's smoking and singing while Jon's merrily packing his bags always amuses me. lol
You can see Jon smoking before getting on stage on Access All Areas too.

At the end of the day it's their lungs. The fact that someone looks up to them as role models doesn't mean they should be living their lives as others expect them to. As long as Jon learns to use his voice to the best of his ability I'm happy.
