You could say the same things about songs from Bon Jovi, Fahrenheit, etc. Bon Jovi plays the all time hits like Prayer and Wanted mixed with songs from whatever album has just been released. There isn't much room left over for much else. Besides, they already did a tour for These Days, so don't expect to see a These Days II tour.
True but they still play album tracks from slippery, Raise your hands, WITS, Id die for you. God forbid they ever left I got the girl out of a full tour I dont want another these days tour either, but they could throw in a few surprises for us next time around.

I think that I've read a Jon's interview where he told something like that: "Our fans have to understand that it's still hard for us to play TD songs"... Well...I don't . Probably it's because of the long break between TD and Crush releases? Any ideas???

Let's wait and see what (if) the next albums gonna be like. As I think it'll probably be there last, I wouldn't be suprised if they come out with another SERIOUS-type-these days album. Personally I think that's what they're really still into even though they don't admit it. But lets face the facts, a more adult album would't sell no where near as much as a poppy "crush" type album. As I said, let's wait and see!

it could be that they think it's to depressing, I can't understand really, I've always found these days (the song) very uplifting and positive, something to believe in is a cry for help to feel part of something, to have faith, wich to me the guy who wrote those lyrics should be proud as hell to sing them every night.
and my guitar lies bleeding, don't get me started, never got to hear this one live but always wanted to hear Richie play this solo live.

it's not only about what fans like but what jon is able to sing and what he's not able to sing.

First of all, I doubt it will be their last as Jon was just saying in a recent interview that he plans on making music with BJ for years to come. Of course things can change, but nobody has given any indication of this being their last album. Second of all, don't count on the band making another These Days type album. BJ have always been known to go forward in their making of music, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. I can't see them going back, unless they decide to be less pop and more rock. That is about it. Third, there is a reason why they don't play songs from that album. I don't know what the reason is, but there has to be something that they don't like or feel wouldn't suit a concert type atmosphere. The only ones who know the answer are BJ.

I really don't see how trying (miserabley) to make a second Livin on a prayer is considered "going forward". Up until TD they went forward but ever since it's either been pach up/fill in albums such as crush or straight forward rock as bounce. I can't see how this is "going forward". I still think the next album will be a lot more serious (as TD was when it came out) and I'm not looking for another TD, that's impossible, just something to help me keep the faith, something to believe in again...
