moron. if ur scared, stay home. at least all the ones u did mention do have something to offer musically. something fresh.

at least there's a bunch of bands who dont "live my life when blah blah open all night" in every damn song. yeah, writing lyrics *must* be damn difficult for some.

Totally agree on that. Dunno bout the rest of u, but I haven't seen Disturbed gaining attention based on vocalist's butt or anything.

Wow! Care to explain in what way they are 'scary' and 'bad'? Cause I just don´t get it.

Valid point, OK, but they didn't say anything that hasn't been true of Bon Jovi on one occasion or another. They've been on the throne for 20 years. Every single artist or band that I can think of with an equally succesful and long career is doing the same. Just look at Madonna, The Stones, anyone.

Bon Jovi's rise back in the day wasn't the result of promotion or Oprah. 20 years later they've proven themselves so many times they've earned Oprah. They deserve their status, and so what if their long career gives them the benefit of great promotion? They're not on comparable level in their career to Disturbed.

But really, when these guys start blubbering over "Bon Jovi gets help from Oprah and we don't" it just seems petty and juvenile. It would be just as silly if Bon Jovi in the days of Slippery were going on about how unfair it was that The Stones were selling on their big name and long pedigree instead of coming out of the unknown like the Jovis. You can only do that once, and Bon Jovi did their time.

Maybe you guys could relate to the lyrics of the album and tell Disturbed to have a nice day. I mean for a band that has only been alive for half the time BJ has.. How are they to know more about Band-Life than Bon Jovi? These guys are just idiots that want other people to kill themselves.

BJ dont know everything. Band life according to BJ is to own a football team and act in movies and if finding time, record something because company wants to put out something. duh!

Agreeable; But what are the chances of this band knowing more than BJ? BJ has gone everywhere.. Pop, Ballad, Rock, Even Metal.. Jon has acted, the band have released solo albums, they've had world tours.. Something tells me Disturbed hasn't done anywhere near that much.

They aren't saying anywhere "we wrote these songs so you can kill yourself". But common sense tells you most heavy metal bands like KorN, Slipknot, Black Sabbath, etc, sing about suicide in many cases.

I can't believe there's even talks about comparing the 2. First off, it's completely different types of music.

Secondly, is there ANYONE who doesn't know who Bon Jovi is? I reckon, the same can't be said about Disturbed. All I know of them is, they sang Stone Cold Steve Austin's entrance music a few years back.

It's not about doing that much. It's about music and actual band life. Like said, acting really doesnt appear as band life to me. To some extend BJ has lost the touch of living as a band, but hey, cash tends to do that.

Well honestly, songs like AALY are more likely to make me suicidal than anything by Black Sabbath.
